Lucas Knightley Tang is a designer, writer, artist, podcaster, and cultural anthropologist. He has worked as a communication design and integrated marketing communication professional throughout his creative career, specializing in user-centered design, product/experience design, and digital storytelling. Lucas is also passionate about design education and innovative learning through creativity. He is fluent in English and Chinese, and he also speaks French.

As a communication and digital professional across different aspects of integrated marketing communication, Lucas works in various digital and creative inter-disciplines to help brands, organizations, and entrepreneurs in North America, Europe and Asia communicate their user-centered messages and develop their innovative products through experience design and creative strategies.

Lucas received his graduate degree Master of Science in Communications Design at Pratt Institute in New York City. He also holds a Master of Arts in Cultural, Media and Creative Industries from King’s College London, UK. Before devoting himself to digital and visual communication, Lucas obtained his law degrees both in France and the UK.

Throughout his experience in various media, cultural and tech industries, Lucas has worked with a dynamic range of creative and tech professionals to develop brand communication strategies and a wide range of digital products. Over the years he has served in several senior positions at Autodesk, Alibaba, Edelman, Hill+Knowlton Strategies (WPP Group), The World Bank, and The Mayor of London.

Lucas always hopes to bring a world perspective and personal experience to his work, attained by his own life, work and study in the US, Europe and Asia. Lucas is a dweller both in New York City and Singapore.

Lucas is the author of Mister Knightley’s Time Capsule (Emovior, 2021); You Are Here, There, and Everywhere: A Multi-narrative Coloring Book (Emovior, 2022). He also hosts a podcast called Creative English on Apple Podcasts.
